Glass and Polypropylene Fibers
FIBRADUR V-AR®.
FIBRADUR-V® are modified glass fibers designed to increase the strength, durability and prevent cracking of the concrete and mortar with which they are mixed.
Thanks to its multifilament structure, its dispersion is homogeneous and three-dimensional, which allows it to achieve maximum compaction, ensuring the reinforcement of the concrete and preventing the appearance of cracking, by binding between the surface and the concrete matrix and reducing thermal shrinkage.
Applications:
- Concrete slabs (floor slabs, slab floors, etc.)
- Concrete pavements
- Concrete and mortar spraying
- Facade coatings (plastering)
- Prefabricated elements
Characteristics:
- Specific gravity: 2’40
- Inert to cement alkalis and acids in general
- Length: 12 mm/36 mm
- Tensile strength: 1.7 GPA
- Breaking load: 0’32 N/Tex
- Diameter: 13±2 micron
- % Zirconium: >17.4 % Zirconium: 17.4 % Zirconium: 17.4
- Modulus of elasticity: 80.4 GPA
Advantages:
- Cracking resistance
- Flexural strength
- Impact resistance
- Abrasion resistance
Performance:
Its yield is 1-3 kg/m3 of concrete or mortar.
